Vehicle Detail
2001 Ford Expedition XLT Sport Package NICE NICE NICE Super Clean & Super Solid!! This is my wives personal vehicle we are selling. This is a super nice, super clean Expedition. It has been a great vehicle to us, and never failed us. My wife is the Business Manager of a Nursing Home, and is required to get to work no matter what,(reason for the agressive BF Goodrich Mud Terrain Tires). This Expedition always got her there without fail, excellent in snow and rain. It has all the desirable options: Leather seats Third row seating All Wheel Drive and 4X4 shift on the fly 6 Disc CD changer The proven 4.6L Engine, good on gas too!! 17 inch wheels The rare Sport Appearance Package with White Grill, head light surrounds Rear A.C. Rear Audio controls Third row seat included, just not pictured, is in excellent shape Anything mechanical that ever came up, this vehicle recieved. Always repaired by ASE Certified Mechanic with replacment parts. Always serviced every 3,000 miles. Garage kept always. It runs 100% and is super dependable. We are taking the plunge and purchasing a new 2012 Expedition, that is the only reason we are selling. The only mechanical issue worth mentioning is it has a slight anti-freeze leak, not a big deal, we added a quart every now and then. The illumination on the top mounted center console display is not readable. The only other is the running boards are factory tube type, and have some pretty good surface rust in a few mounting spots. Some paint peel on the roof mounted luggage rack. The leather on the center arm rest drivers side has some slight cracking. We are very honest people, and want to mention all issues, no matter how slight. Points of Interest: New Fuel Pump New Fuel Filter New Starter New Alternator 2 sets of keys with FOBS Custom installed remote start 3 weeks ago $400.00 of front end work ICE ICE Cold Air Conditioning!! Non-Smoker Freshly Serviced Clear Title, no accidents, Clear CARFAX Two owner vehicle Lady driven Recent brakes and rotors all around Custom Class A hideaway tow hitch 7pin/5pin trailer hook up This really is a nice, clean, solid, no body work, super straight example of a Sport Expedition. My wife uses it daily mileage will vary. It is very dependable, she actually hates to see it go. I encourage you to E-mail questions, or please come by for an inspection/test drive. Guaranteed not to disappoint you! IF THE "BUY IT NOW" IS USED, WE WILL DELIVER FREE OF CHARGE WITHIN 200 MILES. Please check our 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence!! Thanks and God Bless!! HAPPY EASTER!!!!!! On Apr-03-12 at 14:27:30 PDT, seller added the following information: One item I forgot to mention, there is a check engine light on, you can see it in the dash picture. Mechanic believes it is O2 sensor. Has been on for over a year, never effected running condition in anyway. Thanks for the many questions and calls. I will post all that do not contain a cell phone number. My wife and I appreciate the interest, someone will have a real nice Expedition. Thanks all for looking, GOOD LUCK BIDDING, if you really want it "BUY IT NOW" before someone else does. Most of the vehicles I have sold on Ebay never make it to the end, anyone who sees will buy. On Apr-04-12 at 16:05:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Another update, our mechanic cleared the Check Engine light. It is the EGR valve, it's been off since yesterday. He also cleaned and serviced the mass air flow sensor. If the light comes back, that is all it needs is an EGR valve. Also, forgot to mention the engine was changed at 90,000 miles prior to us owning with a Jasper engine. Thanks much, Good luck, this is a great Expedition.
