If you have less than 20 Ebay transactions do not bother bidding or making me an offer. This Galaxie is being relisted because of deadbeat people not following through on Ebay policy. Up for sale is my 1970 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback. This body style was first made in 1969. This car has a 351 Windsor with a 2 barrel carburetor. It is an automatic, factory front wheel disk brakes with drums in the rear. The car is original Red on Red. The paint is in far shape, the body is very straight. There is no rust to be found on the undercarriage. Minor surface rust (bubbles) on the hood and roof (its a CA car that lives on the beach). 16 inch Cragar moon smoothies with semi-low profile tires, tires are in usable condition but will need to be replaced in a few thousand miles. The car is fast off the line and will defiantly roast the tires. This Galaxie has original black CA plates!! What has been done. - rebuild carburetor less then 6 month ago. - new upholstery of both the front and back seats. - new dash cover. - rims - plugs, wires, points, condenser, cap and rotor. What is still unfinished, could be done but is not needed. - door, headliner and carpet upholstery. - paint if you would want to. - the door locks seem to want to move to the locked position when in the car. Probably a easy adjustment. - the windows roll up beyond where they should stop. Adjustments of the window guides would fix it. - a plastic light cover on one of the side signals aswell as a light bulb. - rubber weather stripping (its all original) is old and a little brittle. - windshield wiper switch (I unplugged the existing one b/c it would not shut off, just keep running the wipers) If you want a very fun pretty fast car this is it. It is a good muscle car that has lots of potential and will not take much to get it fantastic. Buyer is responsible to pick up the Galaxie or arrange for shipping at the buyers expense. $500 deposit paid within 48 hours through paypal.
