NO RESERVE...the bidders decide the value...1000.00 immediate paypal deposit required NO EXCEPTIONS and would prefer you pick up and pay without delay or at least pay in full without delay if your not local(which i'll mail you title and keys for,i have a new ign and door lock set for this car,and a 1970 console that goes with it,but car really needs a correct 1974 console with good wiring)anyway, after paying in full you can have shipped at your convenience(i know that part can take some time)but your payment should not take any time at all(please dont bid if you dont have the cash available to you right now, there are too many serious buyers looking for a minor project like this one at a great price who do have the cash on hand)that being said,i'll swap some better daylite pics tomarrow..and if you have a price in mind on a buy it now, shoot me an offer and i might end early,it's listed locally anyway(i'll not offer buy it now option on auction because of bogus scammers that claim to be a buyers agent that end your auction and then send out couterfeit bank drafts and cashiers checks over the amount to supposely cover shipping,so while check kites rather than actually clears, you pay cash out to their shipper while your left with a neg bank account/you know what i'm talking about if you've sold here for a while) so if your paying by anything other than paypal or cash in hand,i will only accept USPS M/Os because i can verify and cash those at our local post office..car DOES need completed...,no rust anywhere(that's a greenish tan epoxy etching sealer on the underbody),rear lower quarters were replaced about what looked to be around 3 paint jobs back aside of that no rust ever anywhere.nice staight ride, but a few small dings and chips missed and some hangers in the garage done paint job clear coat (the plum crazy purple base coat is sweet and the low sheen black r/t stripes are pretty nice too and the clear shines like crazy but has runs in need of attension before hitting the local car shows)they should color sand and polish out pretty easy(i've never tried my hand at color sanding or polishing a finish in my life) otherwise you can definitely lightly d.a. the clear with super fine and have maaco reshoot the clear for a couple hundred bucks...awesome driver racer or show car resto candidate ..i have all interior in good shape ready for redye and new seat cover upholstery carpet and headliner(tan...LOL...please go black or white)..car comes with a 60000 mile mid 70s 440 and matching 727 auto(heads are off for inspection and new gaskets and seals to be installed/you provide) and i was going with a purple shaft cam double roller timing set and 906 heads if i was completing/up to you what parts you want to add to the 440(has dist. and electron ign engine wiring water pump intake ect but no carb or exhaust manifolds ... car also has auto shift console shifter t(but not the actual shifter )and has dash complete except headlite wiper bezel (i have all other bezels and trim included)and has good heater box and blower(no heater core)and is missing wiper motor and linkage, and has all glass in great condition but the windshield is gone..has new brakes hardware rotors shoes pads calipers and backing plates...it still needs bake lines and master fuel lines gas tank(i have both gas inlet and vent pipes)also needs 8 3/4 pumpkin ,driveshaft ,steering column ,steering gearbox ,exhaust and radio and she's complete..has tubes wrinkle wall street et's on centerline auto drags all the way around with skinnies on the front all nearly new still..i put in pics b4 plum crazy paint was blown on showing rust free bondo free paint jobs prior condition(some filler on weld seams of replacment quarter patials was found in great uncracked no blistering rustfree shape from 3 paint jobs and 30 plus years of being there and left alone and the trunk and drops and frame rails were all rust free too)....car was a dark green under that lite blue originally on the floors from a spot i found(none of the original dark green was found on exterior layers,so car was clearly bare stripped before lite blue was applied at time of quarter repairs(a good guess would be 1980ish)outside of car had primer, then lite blue then metal flake red imron then plum crazy on top of that (i'd say about the early 80s on all that paint, just because dupont imron with the big metal flakes was so popular back then/LOL/that sh*t was like trying to strip gelcoat off a boat) the light blue over primer over original metal was where i found the quarter lowers were replaced.and was the single layer i stripped down to(i removed all the previous plum and imron and test shots by previous owner, light blue was in great faded uncracked uncrazed codition and seen no reason to media blast.. pretty interesting different stages of life of this car as i pealed through the layers(the touch of sublime hemi orange and bright read were test shots of base coat by previous owner trying to decide on a color),he kinda fell on hard times having to move to a place with no garage and having a baby so i got car a little futher with a lot more needed accessories than he did,car has been garaged by the last 3 owners for a couple decades and needs a a driver to enjoy her.the previous owner said the 35000 miles on the clock was actual and the numbers are straight in line,so though i certainly cant garantee that as actual miles, the car definitely appears to have spent enough time off the roads for that to be a real possibility. i just buy and sell mopar parts and dont really drive em much anymore at 48 years old and kinda failing health ...car vin shows it was a 360 car(nothing special) so great candidate for a big block monster non matching number ride..doors fenders and bumpers are just lightly bolted for mock up in case they look mis aligned(no bottom bolts on door hinges or fenders right now),car has all hardware wires and fixtures bagged and labels along with all trim except the front hood and trunk tail trim are missing still(no big deal some 3m stick on trim would look great till you find replacments)no back valance either(but car looks great without it anyway and they're under 100.00 used when one comes up)..no patches found in doors trunk lid or fenders either(but they were rallye fenders and had the rally stud holes filled),hood was a new goodmark r/t hoodOn Mar-25-12 at 09:40:04 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION....i can't replace any pics cuz of bids, and cant add any cuz i already have 24,so i put a new one on my ebay world, click on my member name to view, and rt click to save image so you can open zoom and view on windows viewer or microsoft word or office viewer.sorry for the inconvenience.thanxOn Mar-25-12 at 10:24:52 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESSES AND I"LL SHOOT OUT SOME DAY LIGHT PICS THIS EVENING (NOT HOME RIGHT NOW)..SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCEOn Mar-25-12 at 18:20:52 PDT, seller added the following information: in case you haven't done the math...this car will be complete for 1600.00 in your own garage in a couple weeks time..it's only 325.00 for front and rear seat upholstery covers from a canadian dealer here on ebay,125.00 for carpet and 100.00 for headliner...that leaves over a grand for gas tank engine gasket set rear pumpkin and few other used items i listed that car still needs..a comparable one completed on auction and i think relisted in sublime here in michigan just turned down a 20500.00 bid that didn't reach his reserve.and again,i'll happily email you better pics if you shoot me your email.thanx muchOn Mar-25-12 at 19:48:04 PDT, seller added the following information: SEARCH 1974 DODGE CHALLENGER R/T TRIBUTE on my local crageslst northern michigan listing for updated daylite pics of this car....ALSO all parts will be wrapped and placed gently inside car for out of area buyers who need shipped(all parts fit easily in car),so you will want to base shipping on non running vehicle from 49329 zip through freightquote or uship or whoever else you find best online...AAA shippers have been pretty cheap for me using online vehicle shiiping quotes.thanx much...also,though it dont show in pics, interior panels and console will clean up and dye to like new condition(no scratches or busted mount points)dash is mint except pad has some cracks(a cover is about 100.00 )and you can get pad restored on crages in detroit for about 300.00 exchange instead of over price online sellers at 5 to 6 hundred bucks...seats just need new vinyl covers(tracks bases backs pads and hardware all in sweet ready to reuse condition)not all rusty crusty froze up stuff(indoor stored always)...in and out trim that i do have is sweet undamaged too...and i have original headliner bows included besides..easy project to finish the way you like...trunk engine bay and door jambs shot low sheen black urethane in case your more a sublime green bright red hemi orange panther pink or top banana color guy instead of plum crazy purple for easy color changes as the mood strikes you...thanx much
