One 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT Pick-up Truck. This is a very nice example that has been well kept and someone is going to get a great buy on this workhorse of a truck. The modern Ram series Dodge pick-ups were introduced in 1994 and 1999 was a year with a lot of new innovations that kept Dodge at the top of everyone's list that was considering a full sized pick-up. This extended cab model is powered by the legendary Cummins Turbocharged 5.9 litre Diesel engine and with 127,850 original miles it is barely broken in. You will not find many examples that are this clean and well kept and have averaged only 10,000 miles per year. This Dodge does not leak any fluids and it runs, shifts and drives smoothly. This Truck was kept indoors for most of it's life and that accounts for the great condition of the exterior paint and chrome. There is no rust to be found anywhere on this Truck. The positive result of being kept indoors and not being exposed to snow, salt on the roads, or excessive rain. This Truck is a rare find and someone ..... (WHY NOT YOU?) ..... is going to make a great buy on a Vehicle that has years of service left in it. The aftermarket 16" wheels are very nice and are mounted on LT 265/75 tires ......... and tires ........... are one thing that will need replacing before to long. I would estimate the tread left on the tires at about 25% remaining. The interior of this truck is immaculate with no rips, tears or repairs to the seats and the dash is also in great shape without any cracks or repairs. The stereo system has been upgraded to a Sony Bluetooth Audio system and compact disc player. It drives and shifts smoothly and is loaded with power locks, power drivers seat, a.c., cruise control, towing package & more. It is very clean inside and out. It is a 1999 model so it is not perfect. There is a small crease in the passenger side front fender that is visible in the photographs and there is a small dent in the rear chrome bumper that is visible in the photos. Other than that I would say normal wear and tear is all that you will see. Since it was kept indoors for most of it's life, it is nicer than you would expect for a 1999 model. As you can see from the photos it is currently fitted with a snug-top camper shell and it also has inside the camper shell a recently installed 5th wheel hitch rated at 16,000 pounds. This Truck has been used to tow the 5th wheel trailer for less that 500 miles all total. The current owner looked at many many Trucks before purchasing this one and was intending to use this Truck to tow a 5th wheel trailer but his plans have changed .................. so the Truck is being sold. If the buyer of the Truck has no use for the 5th wheel hitch then we will deduct $200.00 from the purchase price and we will remove the 5th wheel hitch before the truck is delivered. This Truck also comes with a set of large mirrors that can be attached for towing large items. The mounting bolts are already installed into the doors. This is a 2 wheel drive Ram 2500 powered by the Cummins Diesel motor coupled to a 4 speed automatic transmission and the Truck has the Laramie trim package. When new these options added quite a bit to the purchase price. The Laramie trim package boosted the price about $3,000.00 and the transmission was priced at over $900.00 and finally the Cummins engine added about $4500.00 to the original purchase price. Combined these extras added $8,000.00 to $9,000.00 to the purchadse price regardless of where it was purchased.
