2001 Honda Civic EX - Manual Transmission - 4 Door. NO RESERVE auction the high bidder wins! We are the original owners of this vehicle and took delivery from the dealer in August of 2001. This car has 253,667 miles, just about all of it highway it has been my daily driver and my commute is 120 miles a day. The vehicle has had all major maintenance done by our local honda dealer. No accidents. It has never not started and never broken down on me in 11 years of driving. I change the oil every 5000 miles regularly and the vehicle has had nothing but 100% synthetic oil since 175,000 miles. I honestly believe that with proper maintenance this car can go another 100,000 miles. This has been a great vehicle I can go on and on about the reliability, low maintenance costs and amazing fuel economy (I average 38 mpg) but I don't need to because if your looking at this car you already know. The details are the car is in good condition inside and out, definitely not perfect (It is 11 years old and we have kids), but you can see from the pictures no major dents or scratches on the exterior and no large stains or rips in the interior. Everything is factory with the exception of the stereo, and everything works like it did from the factory in this car except the AC. The stereo has been upgraded and has rear Polk speakers and a XM satellite radio add on installed (You will need to buy a subscription). The AC has a leak in the line near the compressor and will need to be addressed unless you live in Alaska (The good news is the compressor was replaced 2 years ago, so that is not a problem). Maintenance - I had planned for this vehicle to replace the bushings up front and checking the brakes at 255,000 miles, Oil Change at 257,000 miles, and timing belt replacement at 260,000 miles. Other than regular oil changes the only other thing to consider are tires, they have 40,000 miles and are rated to 80,000 so maybe some new tires at 300,000. My wife surprised me with a new car for my birthday so it's time for the Civic to find a new home. If you need any other information please ask as many questions as you need to before bidding, I want to be as honest as I can about the car (I'm not a mechanic, but I know this particular vehicle well) and make sure we are both happy about the transaction.
