1996 FORD PROBE GT Up for bidding is this 1996 Ford Probe GT. I bought this car from a friend. He thinks the starter is bad because it will not turn over when you hit the key. It just quit one day. All other electrical functions are fine. It ran when fine when he parked it. The transmissin is good. Tires only have a couple thousand miles on them. Brand new $1400 brake job. Replaced sensors on motor. He did not want to spend money on starter because he has other cars, so i bought it hoping to fix it. Havent had time to look at it and my wife says to get it out of our yard, so it is now for sale. Drivers side was swiped by a truck bumper. door opens and closes ok and is still strait. Just outer skin damage. Rear fender also has dent. Drove great when it started. He said it will be easy to fix if someone wants to drive it but I am selling it as parts car. One crack in tail lights. Body plastic is good except for small piece right in front of bottom drivers door. Has moon roof. Back seat is really good but fronts need work. Glass hatch is good. Clear coat is coming off paint (known issue with these cars). The rest of the body is in great shape. no rust to speak of. Good exhaust. It is what it is. Sold as is. Would be great project car for someone who does body work. I just dont have the time. I have the title in hand. Pick up only unless buyer want to take care of shipping.
