1966 Mercedes 230 SL for sale. Nice example of the classic Pagoda. Had been in a restore shop where it was driven about 4 years ago. Car was stripped in order to do a complete interior and exterior restore. The body work was done. Stripped, smoothed, coated and painted, this body is now smooth and rust free. Same work was done on the underside. It is smooth with minimal to no rust issues at all. The interior was started but not completed. New genuine Mercedes door panels (never installed) will come with the car. Basically ALL THE HARD WORK IS ALREADY DONE ON THE CAR. A little over $10000 has been spent on restore. There are only a few small trunk area surfaces that have any moisture residue otherwise its solid from end to end. The spare tire container is solid and completely in tact. Engine and drivetrain are there and has been unmolested during this restore as it already ran fine. Engine turns and will run just fine once everything is hooked back up.& The restore shop went out of business so the owner is simply parting with it as is. It is an easy fix for someone to complete the restore. The vast majority of items are in tact. Car will roll and steer just fine. Needs interior completion. It will come with a passenger seat which is pictured in the picture with the rest of the parts. It is missing a few items, here and there. Please email with specific questions.
