Hello everybody! While the car has 165,000 miles, these things go for up to 300,000 miles...easily. You are viewing (and potentially bidding) on a 1987 Honda CRX HF. This rare automobile is completely unmolested (i.e., not pimped out to silly specs) and runs great. These cars get around 50mpg on average. Instead of getting one of those 3cyl Geo Metros 1.0 HP autos, consider the monster CRX 1.3HP model (er, I know it says 1.5 HP in the default description, but that is because there were so few of these HF models....the title clearly shows that the car is a 1.3HP). It is sporty and even practical (the cargo space in it is amazing). It truly has the ability to look very modern. It has never been re-painted, so you will see the car as-is....no paint to hide its flaws. It drives great and the manual clutch is tight. Floor-boards are perfectly fine. Also, I have tried to take pictures of the bottom of the car, but as you can see it is very clean. More pics are coming.... The tires are new as well they have 500 miles on them. I also have receipts of many of the repairs that have occurred on the car (the last being an updated radiator fan). It was garaged for the majority of its life. As for the interior, it is in great shape except the drivers seat. The dashboard is NOT cracked and there are not cracks in the winshield. The car is very clean for its age. The only true "mod" to this car is that the stereo has changed...which really isn't too terribly bad, because it is a REALLY nice stereo that has a USB port and CD player so that you can listent to music from the iPod or an Android device. As for the engine...you could eat off it. Although I do not recommend this. The Flaws: There is very little rust on this car (but there is some around the rear wells on each side. See the picture below is get an idea of the scale (it isn't too bad, but I certainly want to reveal its known flaws). There is also a very minor "buffing" flaw in the left rear quarter...none of the pictures show it (it is truly VERY minor), so I will try to take a more revealing pic. Speaking of which...the interior is in GREAT shape. Er, except the driver's seat...which is ripped. FLAW - 3ft AWAYFLAW - 1ft AWAY This car is the perfect car for commuting, as the engines in the little things go 300-400K before any real major work. This isn't me just saying that...if you read some of the comments below you will see that these cars last. They were truly built in Honda's prime. I have been very busy with emails and notice that there are now 70 watchers on the car. I wanted to provide additional information on the known flaws to the car (in the interest of full disclosure). Besides the body minor tape on the rear wells (both passenger and drive rear wells), there is some minor body tape right below the rear driver quarter window (close to the hatchback). Look at the picture to the right so you can see it. I probably should take another one being a little further back, as the close pic does highlight the body tape. Also, a little more about the AC, I had it checked out at Jiffy Lube and it still has the original R12 A/C. SOOOOOOOO....that means that you will need to upgrade the A/C to modern EPA regulations (or whatever). I just want everyone to be sure they know what the car has and has not. One other thing I forgot to mention is that the car does have a new battery. I was purchased last month. About the ride - The car rides VERY smooth. Clutch is fine and engine runs well.
