LOW MILEAGE 1994 CADILLAC SEVILLE SLS Powerful NorthStar Engine and Transmission CombinationCarriage TopNew TiresLeather InteriorPower SeatsLuxurious RideBeautiful Black ExteriorClean Engine and InteriorComputer Data CenterPower WindowsPower LocksKeyless EntryTilt WheelCruise ControlGreat Gas Effriciency for Full Size, Powerful Luxury Car I verified mileage and purchased car almost five years ago when the car has about 45,000 miles. I am typically the only one who drives or rides in the car and love it. I previously owned a 1995 Seville and loved it. The 1994 and 1995 are identical models. The engine is very strong and reliable, as is the transmission. This was the most expensive and fastest production car made in the United States at the time it was built. New price on this car was about $50,000. I don't recall ever having any problem with the car and certainly have never had any major problem or breakdown. The car has never been towed. Several years ago someone back into the right front side of the bumper in a parking lot and if one looks very close, one can see that the right side of the front bumper does not extend beyond the front grille and hood as far as the left side. Yet, there is no visible damage or dent. The car has a couple of door dings and sometimes the remote button for opening the fuel door does not open the door. When that happens I have to open the trunk and pull the lever from inside the trunk. . . sometimes it pops open with the remote, sometimes not. The remote button for the trunk and the fuel door are located just inside the glove compartment. Sometime ago the "check engine" or "service engine" light came on intermitently and I had the car into the shop to be repaired and checked. The shop never found anything wrong with the car or explanation for the light. Several possibilities were listed like: failed to tighten gas cap, bad sensor, etc. I have not seen it on for a long time and the car definately drives great and accelerates very smoothly. I am very easy on cars - never ever wear out breaks and always get more out of tires than the guarantee. The tires on it were specifically chosen for the combination of speed/control rating and their ability to provide a quiet, smooth ride. I thought I heard an unfamiliar sound when going over speed bumps - like the exhaust was loose - no one else heard it and when the mechanic test drove it, he reported not hearing anything abnormal and did not find anything abnormal. The air conditioning and heat, defroster (front and back) work fine as do all the other control items, as I can recall. I do not recall anything that does not work. No worn spots or tears in the carpeting (inside or trunk) and no tear or holes in the leather or headliner. Glass is all good. I really like this car and have done my best to describe it. The car is 17 years old and has a few small dings and scratches, though really not very many and most of the equipment is original. I am not a mechanic and have not personally inspected the operating components, but everything appears to operate fine to me and nothing significant has been found when the car was in the shop for tires, brakes, radiator flush, oil changes, etc. I cannot guarantee that some part or parts will not need repair or replacement for any specific period of time, but no of nothing that needs to be replaced now and I would feel very confident driving the car for any distance without a worry. I am somewhat reluctant to sell the car but need something a little larger to accomodate a need for a third child/baby seat. Car will be sold to the highest bidder. I am definately not a dealer, but have sold at least a dozen cars on E-bay and have never used "reserves" on received negative feedback as a result of a car sell. Buyer is responsible for pick up of the car within 8 days of auction close, unless arrangements are made with seller. A deposit of $500 is due via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close and balance is due within 8 days of auction close. On Mar-22-12 at 07:44:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone wrote to me today and pointed out that a buyer left negative feedback in 2009. I did not post the question because he listed his e-mail address and name for me to write to him directly. To follow is my response to him. You are correct. I stand corrected. Even when you raised the question I did not recall this sale. Nothing happened between me and the buyer; he never wrote or called or complained in any way except the remarks left in feedback. It was my wife's Montero and the buyer flew in from Colorado. I picked him up at the airport in the vehicle and he drove it to return me to my home about 30 miles from airport and also inspected the car befor leaving. I think he may have sent me an e-mail with a vague question about something after the sale, but I don't recall any other contact. I think the feedback came a while after the sale. I don't recall the details of my posted description. Don't recall any major known issues with the vehicle. The vehicle mileage is LOWER than I entered with the listing. I have already replaced this car with another, but drove the car today and noticed it turned over 73,000 today. The car had not been driven for a couple of weeks and it was cold this morning. As I accelerated from a stop light, up a hill, I thought the tranmission shifted from first to second harder than normal. My passenger said she did not notice anything. I watched for it the rest of the drive and did not feel anything except that I was still impressed with the smoothness of the ride and the power and quietness of acceleration and the ride. My passenger also remarked at how smooth and nice the ride is. I definately like this car better than what I have bought to replace it.
