Vehicle Detail

1985 Ford Mustang GT. This car was bought by me in 2005 from my best friend. He bought the car in 2003 from the original owner. The vehicle was driven by the original owner for approximately 26,000 miles from the period of 1985 to 1989 and then it was parked in his garage until my best friend bought it in 2003. The car had been driven on weekends and nice days which is evident from the black factory undercoating that is still intact to this day. When I bought the vehicle it had 27,000 miles and I began to give the car a complete overhaul. The following is a list of parts and upgrades to this vehicle all done by me (have all receipts): 1. Ford 347 Stroker: 425HP A. Precision Machined 302 Roller Block Painted Color Of Choice B. Eagle Cast Steel Stroker Crankshaft C. Eagle I-Beam Bushed Connecting Rods With ARP Hardened Rod Bolts D. Complete BBK Suspension with subframe connectors to prevent frame twisting8. Brand New Nitto Extreme High Performance and handling tires9. Black Cobra R rims10. Custom Exterior Paint11. 3:73 Richmond Rear gears12. King Cobra Clutch 13. All new head lights and hatchback pistons14. all new brakes and rotors The new engine and subsequent parts were installed in 2009. The engine was then properly broken in and has approximately 2000 miles on it. The tires have approximately 50 miles driven on them. This vehicle has a complete all original interior complete with original radio 1985. The exterior has no dings, dents, scratches or rust anywhere. It has been garage kept since it was bought and has never seen rain, snow, salt etc. I recently had a baby and found that this it is not practical for me to keep this car, which kills me, since I haven't been able to really enjoy what I built it for. The total cost of all parts is approximately $25,000 which again is backed by receipts (also have original window sticker from first owner purchase in 1985). However, I never had any intention of selling it and now that I am I know I will never get that money back. I only hope who ever sees this can appreciate how much work went into this car and how incredible it is to drive. I will let potential buyers test drive vehicle under my supervision only. This is one of those times when the buyer gets the better deal. Trust me. Anyone who has ever built a car knows just what goes into it and no one ever has the intention of selling it. Serious offers only please.
