This car spent the earlier half of its life in Phoenix, where it was always garaged, and was purchased and restored by its current owner in April of 1992. The car has power steering and power-assist brakes. The total frame-up restoration cost nearly $20,000 and includes the paint and re-build of the 289 and transmission. Since then, this Marine-veteran owned vehicle has been driven minimally, (just 14,000 since restoration) and kept garaged (the vehicle is virtually rust-free, with a very clean undercarriage) It has been properly maintained. Recent upgrades include new tires, new battery, and a new gas tank, new fuel valve and fuel cell, new neutral switch, as well as a re-lining of the original drum brakes, which function fine as does everything else. No leaks, runs, or errors. The car drives beautifully; it is mechanic-inspected and ready to go anywhere. The GT "trumpet" exhaust has a great, light rumble to it that must be heard to be appreciated. The interior, like the exterior, is in excellent condition. (See photos.)
