1970 GTO ..Originally a Lemans Sport 400 automatiac with disc brakes. complete car is original and restored in the last 3 years. It is a numbers matching car! It is a fun DRIVER/weekend carshow car! (Not a perfect #10 collectable/investment museum car!) The only big change from stock is the complete GTO front that is VFN competion fiberglass and weighs 30 pounds. It is bonded to the stock steel substructure from the original fenders and is attached with all the original mounting points and bolts. The grills, head lights, and trim are stock pontiac parts. The "glass nose" is not noticeable. 350 pounds has been removed from the front of the car by way of aluminum intake, fiberglass, and AC removal. The heater and controls system are workable but not hooked up at this time. '72 vents are in the front quarter panels to improve air flow. ..The engine has 1000 miles on a complete rebuild.... 30 over, perfectly toleranced and zero decked, 8.5 compression uses regular fuel with Pontiac 6X heads, new oil pump and full baffle plate, hypertech pistons, Crane powermax 72 street cam, performer intake, edelbrock carb (600), holley fuel pump, high torque "small" starter. 400 turbo and 2600 stall torque converter. Also New: Hooker headers with 2 1/2" full exaust and 3" stainless "dual tips", radiator, aluminum waterpump, interstate battery, windsheild, carpet and thermal guard padding, headliner, pioneer stero and speakers.The dash pad has some cracks and the floorpans and trunk floor have been replaced /repaired with new metal and patch panels (professionallty welded). The quarter panels are still original and ,as you can see, in good shape. Also has triple guages, dual painted '72 mirrors . New tires... Brakes and shocks are good. Wheels are American one peice vintage 1970 15X8 . Body needs no repair and has no rust . Paint is base coar/clear coat bright viper blue..2 years old. (NOTE to drag racers..change heads and rear gear (now has stock 2:76) and you're"good to go racing"!) Car runs strong and smooth! NOT tempermental and can be driven anywhere and gets alot of attention where ever it goes...and sounds great!(a low rumble sound).... serious buyers please...
