1973 Saab Sonnett III There is a cart pictured under the front of the car. It is not holding anything up, it is just stored there. ~60,000 displayed miles. Odometer has only five digits, so there may be more actual miles but impossible to know. The documentation seems to be everything related to the car; service records, logs, etc. Interior needs some help, engine may not be in running condition (don't know why). Paint looks pretty good, no visible rust. Has been stored in garage, covered. Registration current 2012. Also includes spare tire & keys, and Service Manual both printed and on CD! This also means that there is no need to make “in case it doesn’t sell” proposals – but I do appreciate the offers.According to the logs, it last had gas added in 2004, and that mileage matches the odometer: 150,966. Note that the odometer only displays 5 digits and until finding this log there was no way to know of the additional 100,000 miles.Electrical or mechanical problems: Totally unknown. I do not have the ability to properly drain oil then refresh from the top, prime the carb, turn by hand, and then see if it cranks. The battery looks pretty clean but I didn’t notice the date.I’m not sure if this is rust or not. Look at the front of the car where the bumper is attached. I don’t think there’s rust, but it does appear to have a bit of that color. And on the left side there appears a small crack in the painted surface. And yes, I see the footprints on the bumper, but they’re not mine. I did not notice any other signs of rust, but I can’t see into the trunk well enough.I can store the car for you after the completion of the sale but if more than a few days we will need to locate a storage facility and you will incur charges. I’ll find the cheapest and safest.
