1999 Subaru Forester L. Good overall shape. Automatic transmission, All Wheel Drive, anti-lock brakes, dual airbags, fog lights, AC, power mirrors, power locks, reclining rear seats, rear defrost. Good: New JVC radio / cd player with auxiliary jack and USB port for iPods / MP3 players. No major dents or rust. Interior is in good condition. Vehicle runs and drives just fine. EVERYTHING WORKS! Car needs nothing at the moment.........buy it and drive it away! Bad: Various small areas of rust. Nothing too serious yet. Typical dents and scratches for a 12 year old vehicle. R/R tail light has small crack. E-brake handle chewed by dog (previous owner). Over head clock inoperative (but the radio has a clock, so you're good!). The rear tires are a little noisy and should be replaced (front tires still look ok). The check engine light was on recently with a code for evaporative leak.....usually caused by a loose gas cap but may be related to the fuel filler neck we just installed. At any rate, it's an emissions related issue and not a drivability problem.The code was cleared and the light has not come back on since. Recent work:2008: battery, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, alternator, right rear wheel bearing, front axle boot. 2009: rear PCV plate, PCV valve, cam seals, left rear wheel bearing, front brake pads and rotors, windshield.2012: new fuel filler neck Receipts available. The only work the car has needed over the last 2 years is oil changes, air filters, and a fuel filler neck. This car has been very reliable. We have a newer Forester now so it's time for this one to go to a good home! Vehicle is occasionally driven so mileage will change. We are not looking for trades. We prefer cashiers checks for payment.Thank you for looking.
