This is a beautiful car! I have owned it for a little over a year, and I want a newer one. In the year I have owned it, I have had some work done. Cam seals, timing belt, and idler pulley replaced, oil seperator cleaned all by dealer. For the new inspection, I did inner and outer tie rod ends. Last years inspection I had the ball joints done. It has a fresh set of plugs, and oil change. I did have to replace one of the coil packs on one of the plugs. This car is a smooth driver, I love to drive it. The check engine light is on, and you can see by the pictures, there are some messages. They are as follows; 1. when you start the car one of them says 'alarm system', this is for a relay that makes the horn blow. The horn does work, but the relay that makes it blow with the alarm system needs replaced. It is almost $200. It has no bearing on the vehicles performance. 2. 'engine system service required', according to the code that comes up with the computer it is for the mass airflow sensor. When you start the car the idle flutters between 1200 and 500 rpm, but then smooths out to 700 after a minute or so. The alignment and steering parts I needed were around $1000, so I would rather put the MAS money into the next car. I am just being honest. 3. 'air bag maint required', I put a new battery in it a month ago because the old one was DEAD. When I replaced it this warning came up. I think it just needs to be reset at the dealer, or a Volvo mechanic. Please dont let these warnings worry you, this car is solid, and really a comfortable, joy to drive. It has plenty of room in the interior. The leather seats look good for a car that is 12 years old. The exterior is in really good shape. Dont take my word for it, look at the pix, and message me if you want to take a look, and drive the vehicle yourself. I would be happy to meet you somewhere to do so. I think the vehicle is worth around 4,200 or so, but I am realistic, in this economy and with the price of gas. The starting bid is my lowest I will take (due to fees, etc.).
