Vehicle Detail
1975 Triumph TR6 You are bidding on very nice restored 1975 TR6 convertible. This car is cleanly done and in great condition ready to go on road tours, British shows and cruise nights. She is mechanically sound, the body is in great shape with NO RUST, and she shows very well. Even the engine compartment is done nicely. It’s hard to find ones this clean. There is no greater sensation then carving those back roads in a classic British sports car. If you are in the market for a turn key TR6, this is your next ride. The body is in really nice shape. She is a very solid car. The underside has no rust and is painted black and is clean. She has a straight sheetmetal. It is finished off back to its original Code 106 Mallard Blue paint hue. It is beautiful with a nice shine. The bumpers are very nice and look to have been replaced new. The taillights and other trim are new as well. The glass is in nice shape. The trunk is clean and very solid. The tan interior is possibly original, or an older restore and in good shape. The seats are nice. The drivers side has a small cigarette hole. The carpet is original and still shows well. The door panels are in great shape. The dash wood is in nice condition. The radio is missing. It has an Autopower roll bar for that cool sporty appearance and safety. The convertible top was recently replaced and in very nice condition. The rear window is clear. It has a black boot convertible cover and a tan convertible boot cover. The 2.5L straight 6 runs incredibly well. It features twin Zenith/Stromberg carburetors. Pertronix electronic ignition conversion so no more points to adjust. Recent tune up with new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, etc. She has a lot of power and is an absolute blast to buzz around in. The 4-Speed non-overdrive manual transmission shifts easy and the clutch feels great. The suspension rides well and she corners like a sports car should. It has manual steering and power brakes for that perfect balance of sporting road feedback. She rides on correct looking Redline radial tires on original 5.5” steel wheels. This Triumph is an absolute blast to drive and I now know why they have such a great following. Overall, you are buying a nice solid restored TR6 that runs, looks, and drives wonderful.
