Up for sale is a 2002 Toyota Prius getting up to 40mpg. These cars have confirmed reports of reaching 300-400k miles.. I have driven this vehicle for the past 2 years mostly highway miles with no problems, selling because i needed something bigger. I have changed the inverter pump, the brakes and a the 12v battery. All options work as they should. The ac blows ice cold, heat works great, power windows work fine. As for the minor issues, The front glass is cracked about 2 feet in length, the left front wheel bearing will need to be replaced, besides that and a good interior cleaning the car is good to go. i actually purchased the bearing just hadn't had a chance to install it, i will gladly give it to the winning bidder. The engine purrs as if it where new, engine and trani fluids have been changed on schedule and synthetic fluids where used which is a much better grade of oil then conventional oil. I have never had any other problems with this vehicle, i would rate it very reliable.,.. as for the cosmetic issues which are pretty obvious, scratches on left 2 doors, front bumper cracked with dents to both fenders..Also i must mention the car had a previous salvage title. vehicle was fully repaired and past the new york state salvage inspection which are the toughest inspections to pass in the country. Driver door was replaced in that occurrence. I have a clean rebuilt title in hand and ready for transfer. Current cosmetic damages occurred recently, damages are only superficial, does not affect the vehicles performance in any way.
