Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful, very low mileage, 1981 Passport scooter. The Passport is the successor to the legendary Honda Cub, the original "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" bike. These things are great fun to ride, and are perfect for running errands, going to and from school, or just cruising around. Super easy to ride - three speed transmission with automatic clutch means no clutch lever to deal with. You just click it into gear, twist the throttle, and you're off. You can't drive on expressways, but up to about 40-45 mph it's great.I've owned this bike for about 5 years. I bought it for my daughter, but she never had much interest in it, so it's time to pass it on to someone who can use it .The condition of the bike is very good. Everything (lights, turn signals, electric starter, etc.) works as it should. It always starts right up with a touch of the starter button or a kick of the lever. Paint is excellent, with only a couple of small scratches on the bottom of the rear fender. The seat is perfect, and is the proper two-tone cream/brown that gives the scooter a classic look. The chrome on the wheels and muffler is also very good. There are a few tiny pits on the wheels, but no rust. The muffler is excellent with no corrosion or holes. There is a small crack in the leg shield by the bolt hole, but it's been like that ever since I bought it and hasn't gotten any larger (see picture). The rest of the plastics are perfect. It also comes with a windshield.I kind of hate to part with it, but it just isn't getting much use - as is confirmed by the low mileage. I am going to miss it, though - every time a ride it I always it always puts a big smile on my face.Feel free to ask any questions, and good luck bidding.
