Selling my 1971 Chrysler Newport. (Survivor - unrestored) It's got a 383 2bbl. 727 Trans. Looks, starts, runs, sounds, drives, and stops good. I drove it all day during a local cruise event at 90+ degrees outside, and had NO problems. Drive daily as is... New parts: (rebuilt) Carter carburetor, belts, 4 matching tires, dual exhaust, gas tank, carpet. Comes with Mopar 440 dual-snorkel air cleaner. Original Chrysler hubcaps, spare tire, jack, extra side mirror and trim pcs. included. NO RUST THRU. Heat/defog works ok, I started it up moved it around once a week all winter long. Starts better than my new car does in cold weather. Driven from Cleveland to Detroit in August. Has made several hour-long trips this fall also. Needs: Vinyl top repair, Radio/power antenna repair (maybe a fuse?) and just recently, the drivers side rear window went off-track. Also, wipers only work sometimes, and it needs the washer fluid tank. I just used Rain-X, and it was fine all summer. A/C recharge (not frozen up) I would keep it, but I have no garage - and wife wants it gone, as it's taking up too much driveway. It's not perfect, as you can see in the pics - with some surface rust - and torn interior fabrc, but it definitely gets lots of positive attention every time I drive it around. Engine/Trans/Wheels/Tires/440 snorkel alone are worth this price! A running and driving 1971 Mopar 383 for this price is a GREAT deal. A little flexible on price, but I'd rather keep it and drive it - than give it away for the price of some junk on here or Craigslist. **Daily Driver**Restoration Candidate** (Would hate to see this parted out - as it's a strong runner/driver) Vehicle is for pick-up only in or around Hazel Park, MI.
