Rugged 1986 Toyota Pickup (called the Hilux abroad, BTW), with the ever-dependable 4-cylinder 22r (carbureted) engine, running great, used as a daily driver up till the winter began. 4-speed transmission. Has 230k original miles, and I have maintained everything according to the service manual. You just can't ask for a more economical small truck. Engine starts rough but runs & idles well warmed up, no leaks/knocks/smoke, does not burn oil. Transmission shifts fine, all lights & wipers work, tires/rims are in excellent shape, and radio works. I've been selling off my vehicle collection- please check my feedback to see the positive feedback comments on the other vehicles I sold this year. Sale includes rubber bed liner but not black bed topper. There is considerable rust over the rear wheels (the lower part of the quarterpanels are rusted away) and there are small holes in the floorboards under the floor mats, but the frame & cab are intact so it doesn't affect driveability. Issues that should be mentioned: you need to lift the driver's side door slightly as you close it, heater blows lukewarm, horn & handbrake don't work, driver's seat is beat-up & repaired w/tape, and brakes are very soft. They might just need to be bled or adjusted- I see no brake fluid leaks & the truck stops well enough (I drove it every day just fine), but the brakes are so mushy that I strongly recommend they be serviced for safety's sake.
