This auction is for a 1970 VW Karmann Ghia Auto Stick. This car is a perfect candidate for a restoration project. I bought it for that purpose, but I never got around to it. The body is very straight except for one dent in the right front fender. See photo. It does have some of the typical surface rust and pitting that I have treated with the miracle cure POR-15. The engine is not presently in the car but was running fine when it was removed to replace the rear main seal. The engine code is H057773. The Monza style exhaust is included. The odometer reads 34,580 but that doesn't seem realistic to me so I listed it at 100,000. It will need a new floor pan on the driver side and an ignition switch. It does not have door panels, the rear seat or battery. The front seats are in good shape. The bumpers are a custom aluminum beams that give the car a unique look. The custom 4-lug rally wheels and tires are NOT included in this auction, but are available for purchase separately. They are 4 x 100 15" modified Rally wheels with B.F. Goodrich 205/50 R-15 Euro Radial T/A's. Wheel adapters available on Ebay. I think these wheels are tires are a very nice touch to the car. If I had restored the car I would used these for sure.
