Up for auction with NO RESERVE!!! is a CLASSIC 1951 CHEVROLET 3100 SERIES DELUXE 5-WINDOW 1/2 TON SHORT BED PICKUP TRUCK. The truck has the STOCK 6 cylinder that has been REBUILT and runs great. It fires up on the first try. This truck also has the STOCK REBUILT CARBURATOR. It is connected to the STOCK MANUAL 4-Speed transmission with granny low gear. The clutch was replaced when the engine was rebuilt. The transmission shifts GREAT with NO PROBLEMS and goes into each gear SMOOTHLY without grinding or noise. The rear end is STOCK and functions as it should with no whining or strange sounds. All the brakes have been gone through and function as they should. The fuel system has been gone through and there is a NEW FUEL PUMP, NEW FUEL LINES, NEW HOSES and FILTERS. This truck has a NEW 2 Stage paint job. The body is very STRAIGHT with NO DINGS OR DENTS OR RUST! The paint has not been cut/polished yet and I would recommend getting it done. ALL THE CHROME HAS BEEN REPLACED! INCLUDING A NEW GRILL (VERY EXPENSIVE) FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS, NEW EMBLEMS, NEW CHROME HOOD MOLDING. The driver window chrome molding is missing on the driver's side however the passenger side is intact and in NICE SHAPE. The windshield divider is ORIGINAL and in GOOD SHAPE. The door handles are ORIGINAL and in GOOD SHAPE. They function but don't spring back into place like they should. See the video for details. All the glass is ORIGINAL TO THE TRUCK and in decent shape for its age. The driver glass is NEW from LMC. The driver and passenger windows sometimes need a little help going up and down. ALL THE LIGHTS FUNCTION and the truck has been converted to 12V. The turn signals work and there is a NEW TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR INSTALLED on the column. ALL NEW WOOD BED and CARRIAGE BOLTS. It LOOKS GREAT! There are NEW TAILGATE CHAINS WITH NEW GUARDS. The front turn signal lenses are not stock to the truck and are just for looks. NEW WIDE WHITEWALL TIRES AT ALL 4 CORNERS ON STOCK 15'' 6 LUG WHEELS WITH NEW CHROME CENTER CAPS AND TRIM RINGS. The passenger rear trim ring is having an issue staying on but it does come with the truck. I would suggest buying a new one. This truck has dual straight pipe exhaust which is a bit loud for my taste but was already done before I purchased it and before the wood bed was installed, therefore the bend around the rear axle is up against the bottom of the bed. I would suggest going back to a single muffler setup. The interior is ALL BRAND NEW AND LOOKS REALLY SHARP and WAY BETTER THAN STOCK. It consists of FULL LENGTH WRAPPED DOOR PANELS with CARPETING on the lower portion. All BRAND NEW CARPET AND KICK PANELS. The seat has been FULLY UPHOLSTERED with NEW FOAM AND NEW SPRINGS and it is VERY COMFORTABLE. The headliner is ALL NEW and NOT THE CHEAP CARDBOARD. It LOOKS GREAT! The sun visors are also COVERED. There is also a NEW SHIFT KNOB. The door and window cranks are NEW but they are mismatched. The passenger side does not have a door handle but has the BRAND NEW STOCK WINDOW CRANK. The driver side has a BRAND NEW STOCK DOOR HANDLE with an aftermarket window crank. The gauges are ORIGINAL and not hooked up. There is a seperate water temperature gauge that functions as it should. A LOT OF MONEY has been spent restoring this truck to bring it to an excellent driver level. It is up to the next owner to take it as far as they want it or to just enjoy it as it is.
