Vehicle Detail

I am listing this car for a friend. I do NOT own it, and I'm just trying to help him out. I am NOT a broker of any kind, and I'm NOT getting paid. I can answer most any question about the car, and those that I cannot I will refer you to him. 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe Life-long Florida car. Two main owners, and the car never left south Florida. Fully restored and finished in 1998. Been stored, covered, in a climate-controlled building ever since. Only about 300 miles have been put on the car since. The car was intended for a 16 year old high school girl. It was entered in ONE car show: An AACA show, and it won 2nd place in it's class. It went into long term storage right after that. I have every reciept since 1987. I have pictures of every step of the restoration, and they are dated accordingly. This is a no-excuses restoration and great driver. There is one small area on the very bottom of the very rear tail panel that has a very small dent that can probably be fixed by the dent removal guys for $100 or so. See the pic. But that's the only imperfection that I can think of, other than a small mark in the hood from the new hinges, which most people wouldn't even notice unless it was pointed out to them. Might have a couple drips. I saw a couple in the driveway. I'll look at them. Car has been sitting for 14 years, I quess it's to be expected, at least for a bit. She needs to be exersized is what it is. The carb base gasket was dripping a bit, so we took the carb off and replaced it, and rebuilt it right away since we had it off anyway and it had been sitting. I would drive the car cross-country this very minute if I had to. I'd have no worries. Interior is new and perfect. Very rare split bench seat. Only about 9,000 mustangs ever had this. Doors open and close like a new car, as do the windows. The windshield is NOS tinted 1965 Ford original. Took years to find and was very expensive and without flaw. 200 CI motor with a 3 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter on the floor. The trunk is as clean as the interior, and restored accordingly. The bottom is the same. All new front end parts, shocks, tires, brakes, etc etc etc. Everything. It is a hop in and drive car. Starts on first try every time. It's a hit every where it goes. Just a very pretty unassuming collector car that will only go up in value. I have many many more pictures if needed. I posted what I could here. We put it on a neighbors lift here and have full pictures and documentation of the underside. It is excellent. I can help with nation-wide shipping at buyers expense that is affordable. I can help and arrange international shipping as well, at buyers expense.
