Vehicle Detail
1954 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hard top- red/white exterior and interior. Nice paint with normal wear still has a great shine. The body is in nice shape but not perfect this is not a show car. Interior is new replaced carpet, seats and door panels about 2 months ago except for the headliner and visors they are still covered in the original white vinyl. The car was restored over 20 years ago and looks very nice. It sat in a town called Madera garaged for many years had flat tires, dust, carburetor needed rebuilding, brakes were shot and I brought it back to life starting with gas tank. I boiled it replaced all fuel lines, fuel filter and fuel pump. I bought a new carburetor, tuned up car and converted in to 12 volt. It has a new alternator and battery. The motor 235 CI and manual 3 speed transmission were rebuilt years ago and car only has about 1500 miles believe it or not. You can tell by the pictures motor was completely taken out and detailed along with the rest of the engine bay. The exhaust is a single pipe not dual exhaust. All the wiring is stock and in good shape you can tell by the pics. I recently replaced the master brake cylinder along with all the pads front and back all hardware, two rear wheel cylinders and the rear drums. I did not replace the wheel cylinders in the front because I was told the front were rebuilt, but recently I noticed a leak in one of the front brakes and I ordered two new wheel cylinders for the front. Car stops with no problem. All new Firestone 670 Bias tires with newly powdered coated wheels in red. Hubcaps are very nice with some minor dings. All lights work gauges all work except for the fuel gauge it needs to be converted to 12 volt. The front drivers side floor had a small rust spot so I had factory floor section from National Chevy Association installed. The rest of the floors are in good condition with some of the factory undercoating still on them. the truck has zero rust and has all the factory black undercoating. All the glass is in good shape still original with normal wear showing its age. Stainless trim all there, some in good shape and others needing polishing. Chrome was done in the 80's and still looks nice very straight just look at the pictures. The car needs window felts installed that I have in a box I recently ordered them from National Chevy Association. The only thing not being sold with the car are the license plates and the tissue dispenser that holds the stereo. This is a very nice driver. Good luck bidding -No Feed back dont bid I will block you fro bidding. Shoot me an email with questions and read the this entire page before asking me a questions. Below is a link on you tube where you can see the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfHhyijLDbI&context=C3e73836ADOEgsToPDskKUYlvpPSE9QNVkz4VQ77D1On Feb-25-12 at 17:33:33 PST, seller added the following information: The shifter is on the colum from the factory. The trunk has factory undercoating a correction from my ad. The rear main seal leaks some oil which is common on these cars. The car does have a clean CA title with current registration in my name, so yes I do have the title. If you are serious about this car you can email me at eibarra50@yahoo.com
