Vehicle Detail

1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe     2 door fastback     This is one of the most beautiful and solid 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe you will find.   The inside  has a very nice two tone interior with turn signals, heater, sun visors, and horn. The exterior has a set of new radial wide white wall tires with the stock  hubcaps, fender skirts, chrome stone guards, and bumper guards. I have tried my best to show clear and complete pictures of the car. The car looks, drives and even smells just as it should.     This is a very nice garage kept original 100% solid car.  Rust free – the body has never had any rust or rust repair.   The car has been repainted once.  The car has rear fender skirts and looks GREAT!!  The body is nice and straight.  It has never been involved in any kind of accident.      The glass and stainless trim are in excellent condition. The chrome is original to the car and looks the way you would expect it to look after 60 years. It's in good condition but is pitted and spotted in places. I have taken several pictures to try and show this but is difficult to show this clearly in photgraphs. The parts of the chrome that have recessed paint (front bumper and emblem) still have lots of vibrant color which is shown in the photographs.     The car has a new battery, new exhaust system, new brakes, new wheel cylinder, new stainless steel brake lines, new wheel bearings, new master cylinder and new radial white wall tires on the original wheels.  The rear-end has been upgraded to a Patricks 3.55 ring and pinion, which has been completely rebuilt- this makes a big difference when driving, you can easily drive at 65MPH without the engine straining.      The car is a pleasure to drive, runs and drives just like it did when it was brand-new in 1950.  It doesn’t pull to either side when braking, shifts smoothly, and is FUN FUN FUN to drive!  The car comes with the original purchase invoice from Funk's Chevrolet in Freeland, PA which is dated 09-08-1950 as well as other original documents that came with the car (warranty information, owners manual, GM maintenance guide and payment receipt.)  Overall, this is a GREAT car!!  It looks, runs and drives fantastic, and is very reliable.  It’s an awesome head turner and conversation piece.  It's sure not to disappoint.      I have a clear title.         This is truly a beautiful car that anyone would be proud to own.          Please ask questions before the bidding ends, I will be happy to respond promptly to any questions you may have.     Conditions of sell are listed at the end of the listing.          All the way around the car                                Similar pictures all around the car, this time in the shade                            Closer Pictures around the outside of the car                                                     It has the original 216 engine, with a 3 speed on the column which shifts super smooth.  The engine maintains the original 6 volt system.                              The interior is ALL ORIGINAL and in spectacular condition.                                                         Original owner told the 2nd buyer that mileage was original when he bought the car.  At present time the mileage is at 39,600.         these are pictures of the documentation that comes with the car. If you zoom in on these photos, you can clearly see the documents - prices for options, etc.              Included is the original invoice from the dealer, dated 9/8/50 as well as the receipt that the buyer was given when he paid for the car in 8/7/50.  You can see from the invoice that the car had an undercoat applied at the time of purchase.  This is surely why the undercarriage is in such great shape.  There is some surface rust only in the undercarriage, the undercoating has done a great job protecting this beautiful car.         Included are the original owners manual and a pamphlet detailing best cleaning practices recommended from the factory.              Also included are the warranty papers that came with the car when it was purchased, as well as the original keys from the factory that have the key # stamped on them.         The documentation that comes with this car is very impressive.  I have never seen a car that has as much original documentation!     I recently installed a new battery that isn't shown in these pictures.             You can see the new exhaust and brake lines.                                              Closeup pictures     The clock is beautiful but unfortunately is not running. The winding knob will not move.                 The installed optional radio is in perfect cosmetic condition and appears to be complete but is silent.  Knobs and buttons seem to be working but it acts like it’s not getting any power.             Wiper knob & Manual Choke. Wipers work great and choke works as it should.                 Dome light comes on as it should when one of the doors are open.                          Driver's Door Armrest         Beautiful  Heater controls work great. Heater air is hot!         Starter button, Manual Throttle adjustment and Light knob (on left).         All gagues, including the Gasoline gauge work as they should.         Absolutely perfect stering wheel, no cracks!         The pictures speak for themselves.  This is a fantastic car.  It’s tough to find 61-year-old car that is in this nice original condition and is unmolested, AND has original documentation!        original factory keys with numbers stamped on them     original owners manual     original sales invoice dated 9/8/50     other original documents that came with the car     Factory radio (not working)     Factory clock (not working)     new battery     new exhaust     new brakes     new wheel cylinders     new stainless steel brake lines     new wheel bearings     new master cylinder     new radial white wall tires     original wheels- have just been repainted & pin-stripped     upgraded & rebuilt rear-end     Standard transmission – 3 speed on the column     Please email me with any questions.  You are welcome and encouraged to come inspect the car yourself, or send someone else to inspect it for you.  Inspection time is prior to bidding.  Your bid is a contract to buy.  I have tried to accurately describe the vehicle.  Email to get the information you need to make an informed decision.         A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due via PayPal within 2 days of end of auction.  The balance of the auction cannot be made via PayPal and will be accepted in cash or cashiers check only, and must be received in full within 10 days of auction end.  Buyer responsible for shipping costs, but we can certainly help in executing the arrangements you make.    Please be sure to have funds available prior to bidding and that you are not relying on financing.         The car is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
