ENGINE and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. This 2007 ESCAPE is a previous bank repossession and IS IN NEED OF ENGINE REPAIR. This vehicle starts and runs however it does HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL ENGINE NOISE. The noise or knock appears to be coming from the lower part of the engine. We have not had the engine professionally diagnosed and have no idea what is wrong with it. The body is in good condition with the exception of some light scratches on the hood ( seen in pictures ). The interior is good condition but may need a light cleaning. There are some light scratches on the hood but most of them should buff out. It is a used vehicle so there maybe some other small dings or nicks but overall the body is straight and looks good. INTERIOR: Non-smoker. The is about a 2-3 inch diameter area on the back of the center console where the material is missing. As stated above the interior could use a light cleaning but is in overall good condition. DRIVE TRAIN: Starts and runs BUT HAS A SUBSTANTIAL ENGINE NOISE. Tires are about 60-70% tread. Do to the engine noise we would not recommend driving this vehicle any distance to avoid possible future damage. Because of the engine issue this vehicle should be towed. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be re-listed, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up.
