Here we have a nice example of a 2002 Chevy Corvette. The car is in great shape overall and runs and drives very nice. I took it in from a used car dealer who had it on trade. I have been driving it for a little while and I can tell you, this is a great opportunity for someone to get thier hands on a nice C5 for well under book value. DO NOT let these miles scare you! This car is all stock OEM and was mechanically well maintenanced during the coarse of its 10 year old life. The body has minor imperfections just like any car this age, but then again thats why this is NOT a $20,000 C5. The exterior has had its share of paint blending/cosmetic work done, and although there are some minor scratches around the car; this is a VERY PRESENTABLE corvette and I am describing it to the best of my ability. The mirrors and targa show a little fade and could use some buffing. First off the car needs a wheel speed sensor (about $40) because when driven it throws a code for abs and traction control- although both abs and traction control work and function properly, it was diagnosed with a faulty wheel speed sensor. The codes only come on when you drive and do off whn the car is parked. Also, once every so often it will throw a code for bank 2 o2 sensor threshold low, which means it potentially could have a faulty oxygen sensor($125 part new). Neither of these issues affect the way the car runs and drives! You would swear this car feels like a 50,000 mile VETTE the way it performs and handles, and we all know these LS motors last forever and are the most durable GM motors ever produced. The tires are OK and the wheels have some curb rash but are great 10 footers. The keyless entry needs a battery and the 2 front turn signal bulbs need to be replaced because when the one bulb blew out, the other would stop flashing but still illuminates. I will most likely fix this issue before the auction ends. The interior is great, however it is missing the drivers side matt. It was missing when I got the car, and the upper drivers lumbar shows the typical wear as seen in the pictures. If you have and questions please feel free to ask! Im sure there is something Im forgetting. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country if I had to after the minor issues were resolved. As always this is a AS-IS, where-is transaction and a visual inspection is always encouraged prior to bidding.
