The Torino GT 2 Door Hardtop first produced in 1968 has quickly become one of the more sought after muscle cars of its era and the values on these rare production cars continue to rise. Most of the Torinos produced in its entry year were Fastbacks, fewer were GTs and even fewer were the 2 Door Hardtop GT produced cars which were by far the most appealing design. This Torino GT is a true California Black Plate car that is solid all the way. The GT has underwent some impressive upgrades as well with a freshly rebuilt high performance matching numbers 302 CID that runs out excellent with plenty of ponies to back it up, impressive to say the least. The automatic C4 transmission has also been rebuilt which shifts as it should and extremely reliable. The Torino has additional upgrades to make it a real pleasure to drive; front disc brakes, heavy duty coil springs, KYB front shocks, and rear air shocks. Additional Specifications Over all the Torino GT is a great running high performnace muscle car with plenty of horsepower and sounds just as good, the Magnaflow 4 Inch exhaust sounds great. The paint is in good driver condition with some touch ups here and there and although not show quality is still very presentable in a two tone paint scheme that suits the car perfectly. The Torino sits nicely on new 14 Inch period correct Cragar wheels. The interior is mostly original to the car and is still in good shape, some small tears on the armrests that could easily be replaced if you choose. The Torino is believed to be a factory air conditioning car as well but everything has been removed under the hood, regardless a rare option for this model year.
