Up for sale we have this 1999 Chevy 3500 1 ton Crew Cab Long Box LS Leather Interior 4x4 Automatic 6.5 Turbo Diesel with 187k miles. The truck was bought thru a salvage sale due to some hail damage and it does have a salvage title because of it. The hail damage is light and is mostly on the hood and roof. The hail damage really doesn't show bad enough to worry about fixing unless you wanted to make the truck perfect. The worst thing wrong with the truck is the engine has a miss to it and I don't have the time to figure out why so I am selling the truck the way it is with the miss. It starts right up with absolutely no problem on the coldest mornings without being plugged in. The engine sounds great and it has very good oil pressure. The turbo spools up great also. The miss doesnt change with the engine hot or cold. So if you know more about 6.5 Turbo Diesels than I do maybe you can figure it out easier than I. The body is really sharp looking but it does have some flaws. The clear on the top of the right rear door is faded and there was a dent in the very lowest part of the right box side in front of the rear tire that I pushed out but the paint was cracked so it doesnt look perfect but its not bad by any means. The tires are 265/75/16 E Rated Goodyear Wranglers and are in very good shape. It drives really well besides the miss. It has a really nice and tight feel to it with no rattles. The brakes and suspension feel really good also. I would say the interior is in better than average condition for the year. Or please feel free to pick the truck up in person. I do recommend not driving the truck a very long distance until the miss is fixed. So if you plan on picking it up in person I would recommend bringing a trailer to haul it with. Payment is due withing three days of auctions end.
