2004 Toyota Matrix; 4 cylinder; 5 door; silver with gray and black interior; new 5 speed manual transmission—just replaced along with clutch 2,000 miles ago; new transmission comes with transferable warranty good for a year--$50 fee for transfer; never in an accident; 4 brand new Cooper tires last March 29th; new front brakes and rotors in December 2011; new serpentine belt in December 2011; am-fm radio with CD player—single disc—and a tape cassette; 134,000 gentle miles—owned by a retired teacher; nice, cold AC; power windows and locks; no rust on body; non-smoking owner; car was almost always garaged; windows tinted all around; versatile car—back seats fold down to carry cargo—great for pet owners; tiedown rings in cargo area; comfortably seats 5; my family has owned this car since it was brand new and has meticulously maintained the engine; it has had nothing but 0w-30 wgt. Synthetic Amsoil motor oil--$8 per quart-- since it had 500 miles on it; this vehicle runs like a top and gets 35+ mpg on the highway at 65 mph; tuned up with new plugs and wires about a year ago; headlights and wipers recently replaced; no cracks in glass; a few minor, superficial scratches; all lights work; dual airbags; documentation available for recent repairs; front wheel drive—great in snow; this is a car with a lot of life left in it—economical to run, reliable, and versatile. Easily passed emissions testing a few months ago—ready to register. Will be happy to answer any questions about this vehicle.On Feb-20-12 at 10:19:54 PST, seller added the following information: Several new photos show the car's versatility. The hatchback opens or you can just open the rear glass with the turn of a key. Another photo shows the engine compartment and the dipstick--no oil needed after over 2,700 miles (last oil change). It will be hard to find a used car that has had its engine oil better maintained than this one.Tread of tire also showing--all 4 tires were put on at the same time--last spring. All are in excellent shape.That's an 8 foot stepladder in the other photo.The battery is about 30 months old. Someone asked about rust bubbles--there are none. The few chips, scratches and/or breakouts were superficial, sanded , primed, and touched up with Toyota paint designed for this vehicle. The body is very solid. Also, I make a habit out of washing my cars soon after snowstorms to rinse off any roadsalt.The spare is a typical "doughnut" tire that has never been used. Jack and tools necessary to change a flat are all there.Also, my mechanic used synthetic transmission oil after replacing the transmission and clutch.
