Vehicle Detail

Bidding on a very very rare 1980 Mustang Tomaso Swift convertible, number 47 out of 100 built, and only 3 built with the V8 ( 255 CUBIC INCH) motor . This car is nice and rare, the conv top is new, interior is the deluxe version, passenger side seat has some rips and back seat top has a couple rips, drivers side seat perfect. Car runs good, motor is stock still, its the 4.2 liter 255 cubic inch V8 Ford motor with auto trans C4. Now this is the info I found out on this car, these cars were bought from Ford as coupes, then Classic Coachworks out of Florida and a couple other companys converted these cars into convertibles(since Ford didn't make convertible Mustangs from 1979-1982) . This car is extra rare because it has the V8 motor from the factory in it and this Swift edition only 3 cars had the v8. Now the reason it was called Swift , was because they were the name of the dealership they were sold under, Tomaso Swift. This car does have A/C which will need to be charged, brakes work, has tilt steering also. Also the convertible top is a manual one and easy to work, you don't see these cars at all I must say. For sure it turns heads and people ask what is it. I found alot of info about these cars on the internet, seems a couple different companys made these cars with some being 2 seaters , some (like mine, has the rear seat) have back seat, some the convertible top was different. They have been beefed up under the car with suspensions mods on the frame ,I guess for conversion of turning these into convertibles. If you have questions on this car I will answer the best I can , but its best to check on internet about this car. Clear title also. Now the body is in pretty good shape considering its a 32 year old car, looks like someone used touch paint on areas on car , mostly on rear of car thu.Overall this is a very nice and very rare car.
