1957 Ford F100 short bed, fleet side. This is the first year Ford offered a fleet side bed. This truck is being sold WITH NO ENGINE . It has a good 3 speed manual transmission (original) that can either go with the truck or without at your option. This truck has spent its life in the Texas hill country and taken good care of making it almost without rust. It probably has some minor rust somewhere, but I cant find any. The truck has been in my family for about 30 years. It has been in drivable condition up until the breaks quit working last month. You would likely never find an unrestored 57 truck as straight and rust free as this one. The worst damage anywhere on this vehicle is the right side headlight ring portion of the grill. If it has any other dents at all, they are too small for me to even find. The bed on this truck is near perfect. There is NO RUST in the floor of the bed at all. Even the tailgate is very straight. The interior is complete except for the there being no radio. The seat has been redone and is in perfect condition. Every thing inside the cab is in very good shape, and again no rust through anywhere, only some very minor surface rust starting to form on the floor. This truck was originally a 272 v8 . Just fix the breaks, and drop another engine in and it would be ready to drive. The windshield does have a verticle crack.
