1999 FORD TAURUS SE RED 24 Valve! only 65k miles WELL MAINTAINED VERY DEPENDABLE Well this was my wife's car. It truly has been very well cared for. New or newer windshield, battery, brake pads, rotors, alignment, etc. Synthetic oil changes and premium oil filters. Good tires. A/C, engine, transmission, and all other systems are excellent and fully functional. New left rear light assembly. I could drive from New York City to Florida or Canada tomorrow in this car without incident; in fact I have done so on several occasions. Steering is excellent, drives straight ahead and no vibrations or noises. AM/FM stereo cassette with upgraded factory stereo and port in trunk for optional generic 6 cd changer. Because I own another car that I garage, this car is parked in the street. So there are some dents and scratches; nothing serious though in my opinion. There is a dent someone deliberately gave me on the hood, and likewise on the rear driver side door, and one near the left rear reflector. Car never had any body work done to it as I have been more interested in its mechanical condition, which is excellent. By the way the car was never stolen as per the car check report. I thought it was stolen, but as it turned out I just forgot where I had parked it. Because we still drive the car, the exact mileage on it can change. If you want a truly dependable car then this is a bargain. The current photos are shown, and the car is accurately described. There are no "trouble codes" on the car's OBD II computer self-diagnostic system, and ofcourse the car has always passed the stringent NYS safety and emissions inspections. I am selling it because I prefer not to keep and insure two cars. But this is a great car. The car features Ford's Duratec V6, a 3.0-liter overhead cam 24 Valve engine that makes 185 horsepower and 200 foot-pounds of torque. Acceleration is excellent with the Duratec engine, and its midrange performance far surpasses the more common Vulcan motor on other Tauruses. Located at Third Ave and 95th St., Manahattan.
