This is a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT Convertible with 25700 original miles. It has the 383 big block engine with a 4 Barrell. The codes on the build sheet match the fender tag which has never been removed. The codes are JS27, A01, C16, D34, EK2, E63, J45, J46, P37, R11, S77, V21, V3W, V68, W15, Y05, Y41, and T87. This car had been of the road since 1988, before I bought it back to life. I am trying to keep the survivor status. Therefore, it will not be restored atleast by me! The car came with steel wheels and aluminium hub caps. I have the orignial wheels. It has all it's original panel and no rust to speak of. There is surface rust on small area in the trunk and paint chip areas under the hood. I have all parts removed such as the spark plugs, hoses, and fuel pump, and water pump. It runs great and does not smoke or use any oil. At the end of the summer, I notice a little drip of water coming from the heater core area. I have a new core, and it will go with the car. This documentation is great on this car. I have most of the registration cards from 1970 until the mid 1980's. It comes with the original keys, owner manual, window sticker, and build sheet, but it the build sheet wasn;t for this car. I have enjoy the car, but it hard for me to resist not doing anything to it as the expert has advised. Therefore, I am going to offer it up for sale. The color is called Go Mango Orange. As there where only 936 RT Convertible made in 1970, it is a rare big block car.
