Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a CLASSIC, RARE 1969 PONTIAC FIREBIRD CONVERTIBLE 350 with a 4-SPEED MANUAL! The PONTIAC 350 is STOCK with the exception of the EDELBROCK PREFORMER PACKAGE which consists of: CHROME VALVE COVERS, ALUMINUM INTAKE MANIFOLD AND A 600CFM CARBURATOR. This car is equipped with FACTORY POWER STEERING. There is a NEW FUEL FILTER, NEW AC DELCO BATTERY, and NEW STARTER. This car retains the STOCK exhaust manifold with NEWER 2 1/4" stainless exhaust threw FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS and it SOUNDS GREAT. It has an AWESOME RUMBLE. Behind the 350 is a 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION with a reverse shift pattern. The clutch pressure is good and there is a lot of life left. 1st gear is geared high. The previous owner installed NEW SHOCKS ALL THE WAY AROUND. The brakes are decent and could probably stand to be bled. The paint job is driver quality (10-Footer) with NO DINGS OR DENTS although there is some bubbling in the rockers and some front fender seperation as shown in the pictures. The paint does SHINE NICE and does get looks every time I take it out for cruise. All the emblems are present and accounted for, there are NONE MISSING as is common with these cars. Both of the BUMPERS ARE STRAIGHT and the chrome is in decent shape for its age. The rear bumper does have some scaling. I have not personally inspected this car on a rack although I have been told by my mechanic that the floorboards have been replaced with donor floor pans. It is currently functional but not a pretty welding job. There are various other spots that may need attention soon along the rear leaf spring areas etc... as seen in the pictures. For now the floors are solid as is the trunk with no signs of rust. ALL THE GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE! There is no pitting or scratches. The car could use new window felts and replacement rubber. There is a BRAND NEW BLACK CONVERTIBLE TOP WITH THE PLASTIC REAR WINDOW JUST INSTALLED. IT LOOKS GREAT! The interior is in nice shape with NO RIPS OR TEARS. The dashboard is in nice shape as well with NO RIPS OR CRACKS. The ORIGINAL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS INTACT although no gauges are hooked up. The ORIGINAL RADIO IS STILL INTACT but not hooked up. The turn signal lever is missing although I do believe that the TURN SIGNALS WORK since HEAD LIGHTS, HIGH BEAMS AND BRAKE LIGHTS ALL WORK. The wipers are not hooked up and the wiper arms are missing. The ORIGINAL FACTORY STOCK RALLY WHEELS are wrapped in FOUR BRAND NEW FEDERAL 215X60 15" TIRES ALL THE WAY AROUND. One wheel trim ring is missing. The trunk has an ORIGINAL FACTORY SPARE RALLY WHEEL with a used tire. This is a DRIVER that looks nice and drives nice. YOU GET A LOT OF ATTENTION WHEN YOU'RE CRUISING DOWN THE ROAD. THIS CAR WOULD BE THE PERFECT CANDIDATE TO RESTORE BACK TO STOCK OR EVEN TURN INTO A CAMARO CLONE. I'm selling this car for a friend of mine who does not have an ebay account. I have a CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE IN HAND. The car is in my possession in my garage. The owner bought this car with the intention of tinkering with it and restoring it over time but life has got in the way and he can no longer do so. He purchased the car as you see it.
