1965 VW Bug converted with the BGW Spectre 'Wunderbug' package. Front package is the 1937 Ford grille/hood fiberglass overlay. The rear is the Pickup 'D' conversion offered by BGW Spectre.Flatbed deck is aluminum diamond plate, with stake sides and bows for canvas top. Painted 'Old School' black and red with new interior of black door panels, charcoal carpets, and black/red low back seats. No headliner around flip up sunroof, all windows and doors lock with key. Paint is 'driver quality' and shows imperfections in the fiberglass, shows fasteners, and sanding marks.Rust free solid pan with stock front beam, transaxle, and 1776 Dual Port engine. Stock carb, 12 Volt alternator, quiet exhaust. Runs great and starts easy. Recent rear shocks, all three transmission mounts, carb rebuild, and tune up. Old School VW wheels that are wide 5 lug bolt pattern. Rear wheels are 10" wide with wide 5 pattern and hub caps.Kenwood stereo with pop out face, horn, signals, lights, wipers, all working. Amber fog light just for looks. Factory Original German Steering lock and ignition. Plenty of behind the seats and below the bed storage. The truck was built as a conversion on a 1965 VW Sedan, and now is listed as a Reconstructed Vehicle on the Montana Title as a Truck Flatbed. Shows 99046, but true mileage is unknown.Ideal for a delivery, advertising or just a cool daily driver. Can be viewed in Huntington Beach, California.
