Up for sale is a beautiful original unmolested late 1928 Ford Model A Panel Delivery Truck with a professional body off the frame older restoration from a wonderful original example that came from the original owners estate before a complete restoration was performed. This panel delivery that I purchased came from a prominent collection and was originally purchased on 12/26/28 for $ 425.00 and sold new in Prosperity, South Carolina by Shealy Motor Company and purchased by Mr. Jahus A. Frick. A Mr. Mathews was the salesman who sold Mr. Frick this Panel Delivery. I have a copy of the original bill of sale that comes with the car. There is a total of 2,161 miles on this car since the complete restoration including all mechanicals. The original body on this truck is the best I have ever seen and all the sheet metal including the fenders are original to this rust free car making this one of the finest original examples ever to come to market. This truck was used sparingly its entire life and always stored indoors. The original Niagara Blue paint on the body is stunning throughout and strait as an arrow any place you look with a deep shine like it was just finished. I also have extra paint that goes with the truck with the formula should you need to match the color perfect. The lettering on the side could very well be wet sanded off but for any reason should you want to put your own name and need to paint the panel insert you know you could match it perfect. All the black also has a good deep gloss and overall shows well with some minor spots in a couple of areas only if you look close. Nothing that takes away from the overall beautiful look. The tires are the correct Firestone brand and are like new and all the wire wheels are beautiful with a great deep gloss. There is also an original factory wheel lock on the spare. The engine detail is still nice as is the underside. All the wood in this car is like the day it was made and the inside as you can see from the pictures is all correct and beautiful as it came from the factory. The roof is also perfect and correct throughout including the visor. This truck can fit in any standard garage just the same as any Tudor can so you are not handicapped for storage like some trucks with the AA chassis. Well, there it is. It will be hard pressed to find another Panel Delivery in such wonderful original unmolested condition such as this one and also with the original bill of sale that gives you piece of mind knowing this car started life out this way and after seeing it you will agree that this has one of the best bodies of any Panel delivery or at least equal to the best of them.
