2001 VW Beetle TDI Automatic Transmission MANY, MANY, MANY NEW PARTS!!! I am selling my favorite car. This is a beautiful, super clean, super solid, and most importantly, super runner Diesel VW Bug. Averages 45 MPG plus!! This VW runs awesome, and I hate to let it go, you can not find a runner like this one everyday, but I am receiving a company car in 2 weeks. The BUG must go. I literally just put 2 new Nokian tires on 2 weeks ago, reciept to show. Tires alone only have 300 miles on. That is just one example of the recent maintenance completed. The bug runs awesome, looks awesome, and drives perfect. No shimmy's, shakes, rattles. Just installed a new injection pump in November. It was not running correctly, my VW certified mechanic found that the old pump was not producing enough fuel pressure. Installed a new injection pump, fuel filter, fuel filter cartridge. Fuel tank was removed and cleaned. Basically a new fuel system from front to back. It now runs PERFECT!! You will not believe how smooth and responsive it is for a diesel. It is actually quick!! My job sometimes takes me 150-200 miles daily, this bug had to be dependable. Whatever it needed, it always got. POINTS OF INTEREST Transmission just VW serviced, new fluid, new filter, gaskets, etc. New fuel injection pump New fuel filter Brand spanking new front tires Like new rear tires Ice cold A.C. HOT, HOT, HOT Heater New front brakes New rear brakes New front rotors New rear drums New serpentine belt New belt tesioner No check engine lights I broke the inside electric driver's side mirror adjustment knob. I just move the mirror manually. The lid on the center console comes off Headliner slight sag Windows professionally tinted (legal) See pictures - small bump on lower passenger side under door. Has some acid rain fade on roof and tiny bit on hood. Some small stone chips on front lower hood. Small patch of clear coat missing from driver side quarter, (hardly noticable). Small tear on driver's side bucket seat, (small). Small chip on paint above driver side door lock. Timing belt changed at 112,000 miles New wipers New tie rods Recent front end alignment It always start right up on the coldest mornings.
