Up for sale is a 1978 Chevy c10 with a 454 that's right 454 stepside it has a th400 transmission and 3.93 12 bolt rear end and heavy duty springs. It's not all original but better than original if you want a drag truck or a great weekend driver you've found it. Starts everytime I've owned it a few months now and if it sits for a couple weeks as soon as gas gets back to the carb it fires right up idles great. If you start it every week it fires up first shot everytime. Runs smooth has a aftermarket carb and I have the books with it but can not recall what brand it is. Dual exhaust in good shape sounds better than anything I have heard before. That good 454 rumble. This truck was a show truck 7 years ago but spent some time sitting before I got a hold of it. The interior is in pretty good shape the seats and headliner look great with only minor defects the carpet will need a good clean. The door cards are good for there age but do show some wear i think it adds to the character. The only thing I have donel to it since I've owned it is put a new temp sensor in it. All the gauges work the tail lights seem to dim when the turn signals are used. I haven't done much with it that's why the wife says it has to go. The bed has new wood in it and stainless hardware needs the bed tightened though the previous owner replaced the wood but didn't finish tightening the bed. This truck just needs a little tlc and some time to drive it. The bad Brakes need bleeding I think just the rear but haven't really looked at it. I have been driving it like this but would recommend having it looked at pedal is soft. The firewall has some rust starting and the bed has a hole of rust in the passenger side near the tail light there is some light rust on the front of the hood not through the paint though rest of the truck looks good. See pics the mileage is unknown it say 48000 but im pretty sure its not right That's it please ask if you need to know anything else Don't miss out on this truck it's a gem waiting to be polished
