2006 Liberty CRD (DIESEL). A nice well maintained liberty diesel. Some normal use scratches etc in the paint, nothing serious. A couple of small places on the wheels where the coating has delaminated, not bad but mentionable. The # 2 glow plug is dead, it starts right up in temps as low as teens without any problem. Never in an accident. Miles are almost all highway, never used as an off road vehicle. 4 wheel drive only used a couple of times. I had the 4WD feature mainly because it is one of the few vehicle available to tow behind an R/V. I have towed this Jeep quite a bit. It is very easy to tow. The base towing brackets are still bolted to the frame. These could be easily removed in a few minutes, I left them in place in case someone needs a great addition to their R/V. Driveaway contractors or anyone needing a TOAD, this could be the one for you. All routine maintenance has been done in a timely manner. A new timing belt was done at approximately 96K miles. The turbo was replaced in July 2011 along with Turbo hoses, lines etc. The serpentine belt was also replaced at that time.. The tires are a matched set or Good Year's with about 70% tread remaining. a 4 wheel alignment was done at the time the tires were installed. Also replaced (as preventive measure0 were both front hub assemblies and rear axle bearings. These items got more use due to the towing, replacing them before there is a problem is much less trouble than a breakdown. Driveshaft U-joints were replaced with ones that have grease fittings. There is normal use to the interior, no tears rips, stains or unpleasant odors.There are some scuffs to the plastic panels in the cargo area from hauling stuff, no serious damage just cosmetic .Primarily just the driver in it more than 95% of the time. Never smoked in, no pets carried in it. These diesels are great engines, at 121k it has many many more miles to go. See V M Motori on the web , that is where Chrysler got these diesels, it was developed for the London Taxi service and is used worldwide, a very reliable and well performing engine. I am the second owner having purchased it with only 12,000 miles. This Jeep is in great condition and ready to go anywhere. I would not hesitate to take it cross country at any time. It gets an honest 27 miles per gallon at highway speeds. The left rear window motor is unplugged. It still works, however a couple of times before it was unplugged it went down on its own. That window now stays up. It will operate if plugged in, I am not sure if its the switch or what, I never had it analyzed. It does not consume or leak oil. It has had a recent oil change and fuel filter installed. It has no rust anywhere. It has not been used on salted highways. As with all used cars there are no warranties. A $500 deposit is required within three days of the end of the auction, PayPal is accepted for the deposit only. The winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours with a phone number . I will store it (inside) for up to 30 days at no cost, as long as it is paid for as listed above. It is being driven so mileage will vary slightly. Clear title in hand.
