Selling my 1966 - 442. I purchased this car approx 4 yrs ago from the second owner "I was told". Car was white with surface rust starting on the hood,roof and truck lid so I sanded the car down and sprayed with Black DTM urethane primer. Gave the Big Block early 70s 455 engine a tune up with new spark plugs&wires,cap&rotor,points, changed the oil and flushed the radiator. Had new 2" dual exhaust system installed with stage 2 flowmaster mufflers and starting driving locally, went to a couple car shows/rod runs in Pigeon Forge. other then that the car sits in a Barn, gets pulled out & hosed down and driven around locally once every few months to keep the blood pumping.... As far as I know the engine is a stock 455 that runs smooth & excellent, no smoke, no rattles or knocks. The transmission as far as I know is the original 2 speed that shifts smooth with No slipping. All gauges work on the car. speedo,fuel,idiot lights etc, turn signals, highbeam/lowbeam, brake lights, back-up lights all work... The A/C is all there and intact but have never tried to get working, the wipers do not work" not sure if its the switch or the wiper motor that needs replaced or all the above ?? The power steering pump has a slow leak and needs repaired. Body is solid for 46 yrs old" has baseball size rust hole in passenger side front floor and trunk pan could stand to be replaced at your discression? floor & trunk pans can still be purchased for this car. You can see the cars rare original color from the picture taken of the underside of trunk lid" I do not have the time to play with car any further and it needs a good home. Put your favorite paint job on it, rechrome the bumpers, dress the engine up, Tinker with it a little further and enjoy it.
