1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible You are bidding on a nice 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible that is a clean driver ready for weekends of road tripping. It’s a fun drop top that runs and drives well and will be perfect to take to local shows, the country club (it will hold LOTS of golf bags) and just general cruising. There were only 8,950 Convertibles were built in 1975. This one has only 69,000 actual miles. If you are in the market for a good Caddy convertible, this is your new ride. The body is in good condition, partly due to having the Ziebart treatment when new. The sticker is still inside the door jab. The underside is solid and original. It doesn’t appear to have any rust holes. The frame is solid with no rot. The sheetmetal is in nice condition with no rot. She has had one repaint to its original Commodore Blue Metallic color. The paint is about factory quality with some orange peel. The bumper fills are in good condition, not chipped or cracked. The chrome appears to be in good original condition. The convertible top is original and still holding up with only slight discoloration. The interior is in good original condition with the seats having been redone in blue and white. The driver’s door panel has some typical cracks. The passenger side is in nice shape. The carpet is original and in good shape with some discoloration toward the front. The dash is in good shape with a minor hairline crack by the center vents. She has lots of options like power seat, power windows, power locks, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, delay wipers, power convertible top, rear defogger, remote mirrors, Panasonic AM/FM/Cassette stereo, power antenna and climate control. Powering this Eldo is the famed 500cid 8.2L engine. She fires right up and idles nice. It has lots of torque to pull this land yacht down the highway with ease. The automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth. Power steering and power brakes make this an easy car to drive. The suspension rides plush, like a Cadillac should. It has recently installed Firestone white wall tires. This car runs and drives well and is super comfortable to take on long distance trips. Overall, this is a decent driver quality Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. She has a nice appearance, runs and drives well, and is something you can take out on weekends and enjoy, or use daily.
