You are looking at a 1978 Cadillac Seville Grandeur Opera Coupe. This car is completely original with only 9,259 miles! It has a 350 5.7 Liter V-8 engine with electronic fuel injection and a turbo 400 series automatic transmission. The paint is a very rare Sea Mist Green with the matching tuxedo grain padded vinyl top. The color is very rare and is in original condition. The Sea Mist Green paint is a really light green and is very hard to accurately document the color without seeing it in person. It is very close to a light mint green and is really nice. This model has a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, dual remote-control mirrors, all power options, cloth interior, 8 track player, A/C, cruise and all the bells and whistles. This is one of 250 total cars produced, a true low mileage unmolested time piece. Best of all, there is no reserve so bid and win! DESCRIPTION The car is in amazing condition. The engine runs very strong and the transmission shifts smooth. The suspension is amazing, there are no electronic issues and the interior looks new with no rips, tears or wear spots. The dash is in perfect condition and is not cracked or dried out. The paint is nice and shiny with no fading. There are several minor rock chips and typical minor cracks in the original paint. The only flaw is a small area around the antenna where the original paint has cracked and flaked off in a very small spot (see pictures). The chrome is not faded or pealing. The top is near pristine with no damage. All the glass is good and there are no cracks. The white wall tires are in new condition. There is absolutely no rust on the body or frame. The original spoke rims are in good condition for their age. This car has seen no abuse and was cared for and well maintained since it was new. This particular Cadillac has been part of a garage-kept private collection. The body codes indicate that this vehicle was manufactured on the fourth week of November 77’ in Detroit, Michigan. The VIN # denotes an early production vehicle. 450001 thru 550000 were built in Detroit. This vehicle’s production # is 465286, making it fairly more desirable in the Seville market. All plate and identifications numbers are matching. It has the correct identification plate from Grandeur Motor Car denoting manufactures numbers and personalization. I have all the paperwork, manuals, a suede covered owner’s manual and even have a Super Rare advertisement booklet for this specific Opera Coupe (see related pictures white cover booklet). I am also including 4 rare commercial maintenance and service manuals. This car has a clear title with the original miles listed on the title. All the fluids have been changed/flushed; all filters have been replaced; and a new top of the line battery installed; new hoses/belts as needed. The car can be seen in person by appointment.
