Bimmers and Beaters | eBay Listing DESCRIPTION For sale is a meticulously maintained 1981 Mercedes 240D (diesel) with 116k miles with a clean Carfax. Never abused, always garaged. It has been kept in pristine condition. Runs and drives Excellent. This is a classic 240D body and is a great specimen for a 31 year old car. DETAILS ENGINE The engine is the 2.4 liter 4 cylinder motor. The engine runs excellent. All service and maintenance has been recently done. TRANSMISSION It has the original automatic transmission. It shifts into all gears smoothly and has no issues. INTERIOR It has the original tan interior with no cuts or tears in the seats. They are in great condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dash has some hairline cracks (See Pictures Below). The back seat is in great shape. PAINT AND BODY The body is in great shape with the Light Ivory paint in excellent condition. The rear passenger side quarter panel has blended. There is a small dent in the passenger side front fender. It has no rust on the body. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the original factory wheels with good tires that have been replaced recently with about 90% tread left. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has an A/C system that works great and blows cold. A Sony CD player is installed. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. The power antenna does not work. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear. The suspension is stock and is in very good shape.
