1986 CHEVROLET MILITARY BLAZER M1009 ~~CLEAR PA TITLE~~ Does not run Fix it or Part it MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!!!! This Blazer is just released from Military service. It does not start or run. I purchased with the intention of fixing as my winter project, but my wife and I are closing on a rental unit, and I do not have the time to complete. I just want to recover part of the money I invested. My loss is your gain. It came from Military base in Chambersburg PA. Drivetrain wise it is complete, and only has 23,000 original miles, that is the reason I purchased. I have never sold a vehicle that was not in perfect condition. I am very fussy about what I list on E-bay, as you see with my 100% positive feedback. This one is the first I am selling that does not run. Just want to be upfront with everyone in the E-bay community, I have not tried to start it, and have not had it running. All the below items were removed by US Army. I have not touched the Blazer, or tinkered with it in any way since the day we picked up. The fuel filter was changed in March of 2010, and was reportedly running then. Some of the items I know that it will need: Headlight harness, switch. The black out switches have been removed. Front battery and batter box Rocker panels, floor work inside cab. Pass side front corner cut off, see pictures Grille, and headlight surrounds Driver's side window- see pictures The good is, I have the clear PENNSYLVANIA STATE TITLE in hand ready to go. It only has 23,000 miles on. There are engines listed here on E-bay that alone are selling for $1,500.00 just for the engine. The front rear, and rear rear, sell for $600 to $900 easily. Transmission, transfer case, etc... Many good parts you can sell, if you choose to sell it piece by piece. Or some time and elbow grease, and I am sure you could make it a beauty, I know I have myself in the past. If the reserve price is hit, I would be willing to deliver free of charge within a 200 mile radius, and provided we make clear arrangements ahead of time. I am being as clear and concise as I possbily can. I have sold a few Military vehicles in the past, all of which were 100% plus condition. I am telling you what I know, and have included many high resolution pictures to help better describe and show the condition. Feel free to ask questions, or stop by and inspect. I know in restored condition, these vehicles sell for $5 to $7 K. Or part out and make money.
