I am selling my 72 T-Bird with no reserve. I have owned it for about a year and never got around to restoring it. Now it's just taking up space and I want it gone. The car has only had 2 or 3 owners and was never restored. It has all of the original shag carpeting and upholstery and was only repainted twice in it's whole life. I have the service history indicating the same mechanic serviced this car for 18 years. The mileage is only 112k original. Since I have owned it I have removed the moldings and trim and had the car painted (one stage). I flushed the cooling system, replaced the hoses and fan clutch, changed the oil several times, replaced the exhaust pipe and installed a new battery. The previous owners changed the spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor and rebuilt the distributor along with regular maintenance items. The tires are in nice condition, all of the gauges and lights work except the clock. The AC is cold, the Heat is hot, the power seat functions all work, the power windows work except for the rear ones, the power locks work, the wipers work, the original AM radio works (needs antenna), and all of the brake and head lights work. This car is an amazing piece of quality engineering: 40 years old and almost all of the original items still work. The motor is a roaring 460 V8 all iron and it sounds BEAUTIFUL. The tranny shifts perfectly, it's a simple 3 speed so no headaches there. The suspension is tight and smooth with a factory spec ride quality. No leaks no overheating. The car comes with what you see in the photos. It's missing the front license plate holder. The moldings are in my house in Beverly Hills and you can pick them up at your convenience but the car is located in Las Vegas.
