Since 1990 I have owned five different Mitsubishi Monteros. I have properly maintained each of them that I have owned and they have gone 100's of 1000's of miles. My last one before this was sold to a family friend and they now have 300,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. I purchased this Montero in October 2007 from North Park Lexus with 23,000 miles on it. I am the second owner. I have the tires rotated regularly and got 69,000 miles on the original OEM tires. I replaced them with brand new identical OEM tires from Costco earlier this year. Since I have been the owner it has only had full synthetic oil changes. The interior is in as close to new condition as possible. The exterior is excellent also. In January of 2011 I was parked at a stop light and a minivan at a very low speed hit my rear bumper. It was reported and was refinished properly. It has the full moonroof and in dash Infinity Stereo with single cd plus below it is a six disc CD changer. This is a Seven Passenger vehicle, with the third row of seats which conveniently stow beneath the rear storage. It takes less than a minute to bring up or stow the 3rd row. It also has a Mitsubishi OEM iPod Adaptor which allows an iPod to be played through the factory radio, using the controls on the radio. It has heated and power front seats and rear A/C heater controls for the back seat passengers. Of all the Montero of this model year this may be one of the very best ones out there. I am only selling it because I don't need an SUV anymore and have too many vehicles. If you are nearby please arrange a time to come and drive it, you won't be disappointed.
