Vehicle Detail

1985 944 Porsche in very good original condition. It has only 132K original mi (the odometer does work). This California car has been garaged all it's life and has never had any damage, repaint or rust. Last two owners were Porsche club members. It runs and handles like well kept Porsche should. The car has special exterior color: Kalahari beige metallic. Paint is in very good original condition with few small scratches and chips, two small stone chips in a windshield. The interior is in very good condition with typical small cracks on the dash board (comes with a dash cover). Never smoked in. It comes with few unusual factory delete options: side moldings and alarm. Also has very desirable forged Futch alloy wheels in size 15x8 rear and 15x7 front. Wheels have hand enameled center caps and lug nut locks. I was offered $1400 for the rims (they are that good). The car had all the dealer recalls performed. All service records from new, totaling over $10,000, owner manuals, unused tool kit, air compressor, jack, spare, sunroof cover, factory parts and repair manuals on microfiche and original Blaupunkt stereo (not hooked up). It's got fresh clutch (30Kmi). Newly replaced oil cooler reseal, battery, K&N air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, factory power antenna, both engine mounts, front hood shocks, door strikers, stone guards and bunch of smaller things. As well as engine flash, coolant flash, brake flash, oil change and gear box oil change. I have owned this car for about 5 years and hardly used it. It was involved in very minor accident four years ago (another car rolled at less than 5mph and bumped into to the rear bumper without leaving even a scratch but since four cars were involved the accident was reported). The car will require new tires. Timing belt was replaced 25K mi ago in 1993. Restoring this type of car is expensive and consuming so do yourself a favor, don't buy $2000 car then put $5000 in repairs and still have $2000 car. Shipping to any major metropolitan area on east coast will cost around $850. If you have any questions or need pictures of any particular area of the car don't hesitate to ask.
