Up for sale is a 1978 Mercedes 450 SLC Silver in Color with Blue Leather interior. The vehicle is titled in California and is from Bakersfield California but now resides in Las Vegas Nevada. I have been in possession of the vehicle for 5 years and it has been garaged the entire time. The interior is what I would describe as a typical California interior, whereas the seats are in need of re-upholstery, the front ones specifically. The carpeting, floor mats and doors seem to be in great condition for a 30+ year old car. The vehicle has just had a fresh oil and filter change as well as a transmission fluid and filter change. It also has new tires, a newer battery, new shocks, brakes, power steering pump flush and the top end of the engine was rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago. It received new rocker arms, 2 new camshafts. Labor and parts totalled 2843.96 (I have receipts) Work was done with 117805 on the engine. Tires have less than 1000 miles on them as well. New Sony stereo CD player with iPod jack as well as 2 new Sony Xplod speakers on the rear deck. Has original first aid kit on rear package tray. A/C system is full of freon however it needs a 129.99 dollar part for the A/C to work properly. It's an air conditioner amplifier and its available online. Car has also had a front end alignment less than 1000 miles ago. Runs and drives great. Car has a small dent in the front drivers side fender. I do not know what was struck as I got the car that way 5 years ago. I think it rubbed up against a drive thru window yellow pole at a McDonalds or something. I am not the original owner of the vehicle, I am the third owner. Original owner passed away and the car was given to his daughter, who then gave the car to me for payment of a debt. Its a neat car, but I am not a Mercedes guy, I'm more of a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass kind of guy, hence my reason for selling the vehicle. Payment can be made via Paypal, or certified check. Payment must be made within 72 hours of auction end unless other arrangements are made. Bear in mind that I am familiar with all types of money order and check fraud scams, so lets not even go down that road. Buyer pays all applicable taxes and shipping costs on their end.
