It has been kept in pristine condition. Runs and drives Excellent. This is a true specimen of this year and model. DETAILS ENGINE The engine is the 2.5 liter 6 cylinder motor. The engine runs excellent. All service and maintenance has been recently done. TRANSMISSION It has the original 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no grinding or slipping issues. It has good bushings with no sloppiness in the shifter. The All Wheel Drive unit has been recently serviced and re-sealed. INTERIOR It has the original gray leather interior with no cuts or tears in the seats. They are in excellent condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dash has some cracks (See Pictures Below). The back seat is in great shape. PAINT AND BODY The body is in great shape with the Diamond Black Metallic (Diamantschwarz) paint in excellent condition. The car has been repainted at some point. It has NO dents or rust on the body. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the original factory 15" BBS wheels with good tires with about 70% tread left. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has an A/C system that works great and blows cold. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear. The suspension is stock and is in very good shape. WHAT MAKES THIS CAR RARE The BMW IX car is the only All Wheel Drive cars that BMW produced at that time.
